Belmar NJ October 4, 2007 - In October, the BAC is sponsoring a Youth Art Show, for children, grades k-12, from the local area. Each child may enter one artwork for the show, and ribbons will be awarded to first, second and third place winners in four age group categories, k-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12. The Council has invited the Belmar Women's Club, of the General Federation of Women's Clubs to judge the Youth Art Show. Registrations and drop-off is Saturday October 20, 12-2 pm. This program is made possible in part by the Monmouth County Arts Council through funding from the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, through the County Historical Commission, and the New Jersey Stats Council on the Arts/Department of State a Partner Agency of the National Endowment of the Arts.
