5th Annual BAC Juried Art Show
Call for Entries
Belmar, NJ, March 5, 2009 - The Fifth Annual Juried Art Exhibition will take place at the Belmar Arts Council and be on display April 4th through May 1st. The opening reception will take place on Saturday April 4th from 3PM to 5PM. During the reception, awards will be presented for best in show and best in various media including: painting; Graphic Media (Drawing & Printmaking); Photography; Three Dimensional Art and Mixed Media.
Prof. Marie Maber, Chair of the Visual Arts Department at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft will act as juror for the show. Entries will be accepted on Friday March 27th between 5PM and 8PM and on Saturday March 28th between 10AM and 1PM.
Artists should note that all artwork must be original and not previously exhibited in a BAC show. Two pieces per artist may be entered with the maximum of one piece to be accepted for exhibition. Acceptance is not guaranteed. The entry fee is $15 per piece for non-members or $10 per piece for BAC members. Sales of work are encouraged but not required. An entry form and complete details can be obtained online at www.BelmarArts.org.
Dues, donations and grants fund the Belmar Arts Council's programs. BAC's events are made possible in part by the Monmouth County Arts Council through funding from the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, through the County Historical Commission, and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment of the Arts.
