Belmar Arts Council Presents
Small Treasures Holiday Show

Belmar, NJ, November 3, 2008 - The Belmar Arts Council (BAC) announces its "Small Treasures" exhibition of art. This member's show will feature original art work in various media at prices up to $75, in time for the holiday season; original art is a perfect gift! Shop early and shop often; as art is purchased, artists will replenish with new items.

The Boatworks at 608 River Road, Belmar, is the Art council's headquarters in the former Connolly Boatworks building. Member artists interested in submitting work for the show must drop off their art, Saturday, November 8th between 10 AM and 1 PM. The entry fee for this show has been waived (maximum 2 framed pieces to hang, 5 matted pieces for bins and up to 20 cards for the racks. Present fee and application form with work upon delivery. Illegible and incomplete forms will not be accepted. Please be sure your work is wired and ready to hang.

Participants will be expected to sit a minimum of two hours during the course of the show. Artwork will be on display from November 15th to January 2nd, 1 PM to 5 PM Wednesday thru Sunday. Opening reception will be held on November 15th between 4 PM and 7 PM. Open House on December 6th between 3 PM and 6 PM.

The programs of the Belmar Arts Council are funded by dues, donations and grants. BAC's events are made possible in part by the Monmouth County Arts Council through funding from the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, through the County Historical Commission, and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State a Partner Agency of the National Endowment of the Arts.
