Belmar Arts Council Presents Pipe on the Hob

Belmar, NJ, May 13, 2008 - This weekend, join the Belmar Arts Council (BAC) for the first event of it's "Live at the Boatworks" summer music series -- an evening with Pipe on the Hob. This Saturday, May 17, popular local musicians Tom Brennan and friends will fill the Boatworks' intimate performance space with traditional Irish music. The show is from 8 to 10 pm at the BAC's headquarters at the Boatworks, 608 River Avenue in Belmar (7th Avenue and the railroad tracks). Doors open at 7:30.

The BAC performance series is presented in collaboration with Espresso Mio, whose staff will have their terrific menu of coffee drinks available for purchase, creating a true coffee house atmosphere.

A donation of $5 per person is suggested for a wonderful evening of music and fun in Belmar's newest performance venue. For more information or for directions to the Boatworks, please visit the BAC web site at www.belmararts.org or call 732-749-3360.

The programs of the Belmar Arts Council are funded by dues, donations and grants. BAC's events are made possible in part by the Monmouth County Arts Council through funding from the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, through the County Historical Commission, and the New Jersey Stats Council on the Arts/Department of State a Partner Agency of the National Endowment of the Arts.
