ScanCAD International Celebrates Growth

Morrison Colorado (March 30, 2005) — ScanCAD International, a manufacturer of a series of productivity enhancement tools designed for the electronics fabrication and assembly industries, capped a three-year growth spurt in 2005 that has seen a 34 percent annual average growth rate (AAGR) in sales over the period. ScanCAD, a privately held company, said a rebounding manufacturing sector set the stage for its success.

"Sales increases of more than 500 percent for two product lines, ScanSTENCIL and ScanINSPECT, played a significant part in the company's growth in 2005," said Bill Loving, President, ScanCAD International. "ScanSTENCIL and ScanSTENCIL Lite are fully integrated, stand-alone inspection workstations for stencils and screens. The innovative ScanINSPECT VPI ^tm (virtual product inspection) system qualifies each assembly and fabrication process step before production. This stand-alone system combines a high resolution, color flatbed scanner with a dual lighting system to provide a platform that verifies all process components before they reach the manufacturing floor.
